Miles Overview
The RX 350L is Lexus's three-row version of its popular mid-size SUV, adding a third seat for families that need the extra room. If you're cross-shopping, it lines up against the Acura MDX and the Infiniti QX60, both of which offer similar three-row layouts. It drives with the smooth, quiet composure Lexus is known for, though the extra length makes it feel a bit more ponderous than the standard RX. Inside, the cabin is plush and well-built, with soft-touch materials everywhere and a third row that's best left for kids or occasional use. The Premium is Lexus's entry trim for the three-row RX, skipping the Luxury's nicer leather and bigger wheels to keep the price in check. Under the hood sits a 3.5L V6 making 290 horsepower paired with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which delivers a relaxed gait rather than any sporting intent. Expect 21 mpg combined on premium fuel, and the third row is best thought of as occasional seating for small passengers.
