Miles Overview
The LX 470 is Lexus's full-size luxury SUV, the one that shares its bones with the Land Cruiser. It drives with a smooth, steady confidence that suits long highway miles and rough trails alike. The ride is plush and quiet, though the body leans a bit in corners as you'd expect from a tall SUV. Inside there's room for eight, and the third row folds flat to open up a big cargo area. The LX 470 is the sole trim for 2006, so you get the full luxury treatment without any tier to step up to. Its 4.7L V8 makes 227 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, which gives it steady pulling power for towing or off-road use. Fuel economy is what you'd expect from a big SUV at 13 mpg combined.
