Miles Overview
Around town it feels smooth and effortless, with the electric motor doing most of the work in stop-and-go traffic. The ride is genuinely plush, soaking up bumps that would rattle other SUVs, and the cabin stays library-quiet at highway speeds. The RX 450h is the hybrid version of the standard RX 350, trading a V6-only powertrain for the combination that earns 29 mpg combined. Its 3.5L V6 hybrid pairs with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, and the electric assist makes it feel quicker off the line than the horsepower number suggests. The hybrid system shuts the gas engine off at stops, so you'll creep away silently until you need more throttle.
