Miles Overview
The IS is Lexus's compact sports sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a rear-drive-feeling sedan that's genuinely fun to hustle down a back road, with sharp steering and a willing engine. The ride is firm but composed, and the cabin stays impressively quiet at highway speeds. Inside, you get a nicely built cabin with comfortable seats, though rear legroom is tight for adults. The F Sport is the sporty middle trim of the IS 350, adding sharper looks and a firmer suspension than the F Sport Design, while skipping the most hardcore bits of the range. Under the hood is a 3.5L V6 making 311 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, and it returns 22 mpg combined. The F Sport's adaptive suspension tightens up in Sport S+ mode, sharpening body control for back-road driving while keeping the ride livable for daily commutes.
