Miles Overview
The IS is Lexus's compact sport sedan, and this year it also comes as a convertible, giving you a drop-top option in a small luxury package. It's a rear-drive car with a balanced chassis, so it feels eager through corners yet stays composed on the highway. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well put together, with comfortable front seats and a back seat that's tight for adults. Running costs are reasonable for a luxury car, and its reputation for reliability means fewer surprise repair bills down the road. The 250c is the convertible version of the IS, trading the sedan's four doors for a power-folding hardtop and a sleeker silhouette. Its 2.5L V6 makes 236 horsepower and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic, which is smooth but not as quick as the IS 350's V6.
