Miles Overview
This is Lexus's full-size luxury sedan, the one that competes with the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class. It's tuned for silence and smoothness, so you'll feel almost nothing from the road, which is exactly the point. The cabin is a quiet, leather-lined place with plenty of rear legroom, and the trunk is generous for a luxury sedan. Lexus's reputation for dependability carries over here, and the LS is often cited as one of the most reliable luxury sedans you can buy. The base LS 460 gives you the same 4.6L V8 and 385 horsepower as the pricier trims, so you're not giving up any performance by choosing it. With all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission, the 4.6L V8 delivers smooth, effortless acceleration and returns 18 mpg combined.
