Miles Overview
The LS is Lexus's flagship sedan, the one that goes up against the S-Class, 7 Series, and A8. It's a big luxury cruiser that wafts down the road with quiet confidence, and the ride stays composed even over rough pavement. The cabin is a quiet, beautifully crafted space with plush seats and plenty of room for four adults. The infotainment system uses a touchpad controller that takes some getting used to, but the big screen is crisp and the standard safety suite is comprehensive. The Core is the base LS, skipping the Luxury and Executive trims' extra amenities while keeping the same smooth 3.4L V6 and standard air suspension. Its 3.4L V6 makes 416 horsepower and pairs with a ten-speed automatic, sending power to the rear wheels for a relaxed, quiet highway gait. You get 22 mpg combined from the rear-wheel drive setup, which is competitive for a full-size luxury sedan of this size.
