Miles Overview
Inside, the cabin is a quiet, meticulously crafted space with plush seats and plenty of room for four, though the trunk is a bit tight for the class. Standard tech includes Lexus Safety System+, a 12.3-inch display, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on later models, but the touchpad controller takes getting used to. The LS 500h is the hybrid version of Lexus's flagship sedan, offering significantly better fuel economy than the V6 LS 500 while keeping the same spacious, quiet cabin. Its 3.5L V6 hybrid makes 295 horsepower and routes power through a continuously variable automatic transmission to all-wheel drive, which means smooth, silent acceleration around town and a combined 26 mpg combined. The hybrid's regenerative brakes can feel a little grabby at low speeds, but the trade-off is you'll visit the gas station far less often than in the standard LS.
