Miles Overview
The IS is Lexus's compact sport sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a sharp handler with quick steering and a firm, controlled ride, so it feels eager on a back road. The cabin is nicely trimmed, but the back seat is snug and the trunk is modest for the class. The touchscreen infotainment is easy to use, and the standard safety suite includes adaptive cruise and lane-keeping assist. The Comfort trim adds heated front seats and a power-adjustable steering wheel over the base IS 300. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, returning 25 mpg combined.
