Miles Overview
The IS is Lexus's compact sport sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a rear-drive-feeling sedan with sharp steering and a willing engine, though the ride is on the firm side. Inside, the cabin is nicely trimmed and quiet, but rear legroom is tight for adults. You get Lexus's Enform infotainment with a touchpad controller, which takes some getting used to. The 300 is the AWD version of the IS, sitting above the rear-drive F Sport and giving you all-weather traction instead of the F Sport's sportier suspension tune. Its 3.5L V6 makes 260 horsepower and routes power through a six-speed automatic to all four wheels, which nets 22 mpg combined.
