Miles Overview
The ride is plush and the cabin hushed, making long highway miles feel effortless. It's a proper four-door sedan with a roomy back seat and a trunk that fits a week's luggage. The ES 300h is the hybrid version of the ES sedan, trading the V6 of the ES 350 for a 2.5L I4 hybrid that cuts fuel use in half while keeping the same quiet cabin and roomy back seat. Its hybrid powertrain makes 200 horsepower and returns 40 mpg combined, so you can drive all week on a single tank of gas without plugging in. The ES 300h comes standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission that makes the car feel smooth and seamless around town, though it does drone a bit under hard acceleration.
