Miles Overview
The LS 460 is Lexus's flagship luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series. It glides down the highway with a hushed, effortless feel, though it's more about serenity than sporty responses. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, beautifully finished place with plush seats and plenty of room for four adults. Expect premium fuel and higher insurance, but the LS's reputation for dependability helps keep ownership costs predictable. Its 4.6L V8 makes 386 horsepower and pairs with a silky eight-speed automatic, delivering effortless acceleration and an EPA-rated 19 mpg combined. The standard air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, though the trade-off is a slightly floaty feel over sharp ridges at highway speeds.
