Miles Overview
The IS 250 is Lexus's compact sport sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a sharp handler with quick steering and a balanced chassis, so it feels eager through corners. The ride is firm but controlled, which is the trade for how well it holds the road. Inside, the cabin is nicely put together with quality materials, though rear legroom is tight for adults. The base IS 250 is the one to pick if you want the sharpest handling and lowest price; the AWD version adds grip but weighs more and costs more. Its 2.5L V6 makes 236 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving it a willing, rev-happy character that suits the chassis. This rear-drive setup keeps the nose light and the steering talkative, which is why enthusiasts tend to seek it out.
