Miles Overview
The IS 250 is Lexus's compact sport sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a comfortable daily driver with a smooth ride, though the steering feels a bit light compared to its German rivals. Inside, the cabin is nicely put together with quality materials, but rear-seat space is tight for adults. Lexus has a strong reputation for reliability, and the IS 250 is no exception, with many owners reporting trouble-free miles. The IS 250 is the base engine in the lineup, trading the IS 350's extra power for noticeably better fuel economy and a lower purchase price. Its 2.5L V6 makes 236 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it returns 24 mpg combined in mixed driving.
