Miles Overview
The ES 300 is Lexus's entry-level sedan, the one that made the brand's reputation for quiet luxury accessible. It's a relaxed cruiser, not a sport sedan, and that's exactly what it does best. The ride is exceptionally smooth and the cabin is hushed at highway speeds. Inside, the cabin is a comfortable, well-built place with plenty of room for four adults. A single trim level is all Lexus offered, so the 300 is the only ES for 2002. Its 3.0L V6 makes 210 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, which gives it ample power for effortless highway merging. Expect an exceptionally quiet cabin and a compliant ride that isolates you from rough pavement.
