Miles Overview
The IS 300 was Lexus's compact sport sedan, built to take on the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 with a sharper driving focus. It corners with real enthusiasm, the steering is nicely weighted, and the ride is firm but never harsh. The cabin feels driver-focused with a clean dashboard and high-quality materials, though the rear legroom is snug. You could get it as a sedan or a wagon, and while the back seat is tight for adults, the front seats are supportive and well-bolstered. The IS 300 comes as a single trim, so you get the same 3.0L I6 and rear-wheel drive regardless of body style. Its 3.0L I6 makes 230 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, giving it eager acceleration and a willing character on a back road. The sedan is the practical pick, but the SportCross wagon adds versatility without changing the driving experience.
