Miles Overview
This is Lexus's compact sport sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. The IS feels eager through corners, with a rear-drive balance that makes it genuinely fun to hustle. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade-off for how flat it stays in the bends. Inside, the cabin is quiet and well put together, though rear legroom is tight for adults. The IS 200t is the base model, running a four-cylinder where the IS 350 packs a V6. Its 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to the rear wheels. The base trim rides on 17-inch wheels, which soak up bumps better than the 18s on the IS 350.
