Miles Overview
The IS is Lexus's compact sports sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's a rear-drive-feeling sedan that rewards a quick turn into a corner, and the steering is nicely weighted. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade-off for how well it handles, but it stays composed on rough pavement. The cabin is snug for a compact sedan, so rear-seat passengers won't have a ton of legroom, but the front seats are supportive. That 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower through an eight-speed automatic, and you'll see 25 mpg combined in mixed driving.
