Miles Overview
The IS is Lexus's compact sport sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4. It's the most engaging IS in years, with sharp steering and a chassis that feels eager when you push it. The cabin is snug for a sedan this size, but the front seats are superb and the materials feel premium. The infotainment uses a touchpad controller that takes some getting used to, though the standard safety suite is generous. The 2.0L I4 makes 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with the eight-speed automatic for a smooth, responsive feel that gets 26 mpg combined. Drive Mode Select lets you toggle between ECO, NORMAL, and SPORT, sharpening throttle and shift response when you want it.
