Miles Overview
The 2014 FJ Cruiser is Toyota's retro-styled off-roader, a body-on-frame SUV built for trails more than tarmac. It drives with a truck-like feel that's honest about its mission, and the tall stance gives you a commanding view of the road. The cabin is functional and easy to clean, with a split rear door and fold-flat seats that make cargo access straightforward. Reliability is a strong suit here, with the FJ's simple, proven mechanicals earning a devoted following among off-road enthusiasts. Rear-wheel drive and a slightly lower price tag set the SR apart from the 4WD Base model. Its 4.0L V6 makes 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, all sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic.
