Miles Overview
The 4Runner is Toyota's body-on-frame SUV, the one that still feels like a proper truck underneath. It's a capable off-roader with good ground clearance, and it handles snow with confidence. The cabin is roomy, with a third row that folds flat into the floor and a power back window that's a nice touch. Some owners mention a wide turning radius and occasional electrical gremlins, but the drivetrain is known to be tough. The SR5 is the trim that keeps the 4Runner straightforward and affordable, skipping the Limited's leather and chrome for a more practical, wash-it-out interior. Its 4.0L V6 makes 236 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it manages 18 mpg combined in mixed driving. This SR5 has the optional third-row seat, which folds flat into the floor when you need cargo space instead of people.
