Miles Overview
The 2004 Land Cruiser is Toyota's full-size SUV, the one that competes with the Range Rover and the Lexus LX470. It's a heavy, body-on-frame truck, so it feels substantial on the road, but the ride is smooth and the steering is light for its size. Inside, you get a roomy cabin with three rows of seats, and the rear seats fold flat to open up a large cargo area. The Land Cruiser has a legendary reputation for durability, and many of these trucks are still on the road with well over 200,000 miles. The VX is the single trim for the 2004 Land Cruiser, so every example you find has the same 4.7L V8, all-wheel drive, and three-row seating. The VX came standard with a locking center differential and available rear locking diff, so this is one of the few SUVs from 2004 that can genuinely handle off-road trails.
