Miles Overview
This is Toyota's full-size, body-on-frame SUV, the one that's been the go-to for serious off-road duty and long-haul travel since the 1960s. It drives with the calm, planted feel of a heavy-duty truck, and the steering and brakes inspire confidence even when you're miles from pavement. Inside, the cabin is roomy and built to last, with three rows of seats that fold flat for cargo and materials that shrug off wear. The Land Cruiser's reputation for reliability is legendary, with many examples still running strong well past 200,000 miles. Heated leather seats and a locking center differential set the VX apart from the simpler Land Cruiser models. Its 4.7L V8 makes 227 horsepower and pairs with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, giving it the muscle to tow a boat or climb a rocky trail without breaking a sweat. Fuel economy is 13 mpg combined, which is what you expect from a full-size body-on-frame SUV built for capability over efficiency.
