Miles Overview
The RAV4 is Toyota's compact SUV, a smaller, more maneuverable alternative to the midsize Highlander. It's easy to drive around town, with a light feel and a tight turning radius that makes parking a breeze. The ride is on the firm side, but the cabin stays reasonably quiet for its age. The rear hatch swings to the side, which is handy in tight spots but can be awkward in some garages. This RAV4 is the one to pick if you want all-weather traction without stepping up to a Highlander, and it's the only way to get all-wheel drive in this generation. The 2.4L I4 makes 149 horsepower, and with the four-speed automatic and all-wheel drive it's no hot hatch, but it's willing and gets 22 mpg combined.
