Miles Overview
The RAV4 is Toyota's compact SUV, a smaller, more maneuverable alternative to the midsize Highlander. It's easy to drive around town, with a light feel and a tight turning radius that makes parking a breeze. The ride is on the firm side, but the cabin stays reasonably quiet for its age. The rear hatch swings to the side, which is handy in tight spots but can be awkward in some garages. This is the base RAV4, so you skip the all-wheel drive and some convenience features you'd get on the L or Sport, but you save a few thousand dollars upfront. The 2.4L I4 makes 149 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque, which is enough for daily driving, and the four-speed automatic shifts smoothly around town.
