Miles Overview
The 2005 Highlander is Toyota's mid-size SUV, a roomy five-seater with an optional third row for seven. It rides smoothly and quietly, though the steering feels a bit heavy and the turning radius is wide. Inside, the cabin offers plenty of room for front and middle passengers, with seats that fold flat for cargo. Owners report the Highlander as one of the most reliable SUVs they've owned, with many lasting well past 100,000 miles. The Limited is the top trim, with a more powerful V6 and four-wheel drive over the base Highlander's four-cylinder. Its 3.3L V6 makes 230 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving it confident passing power on the highway. The Limited adds standard leather upholstery and a power driver's seat, plus an optional third row for seven seats.
