Miles Overview
The Highlander is Toyota's three-row family SUV, a roomier alternative to the RAV4 that still fits in a standard garage. It drives with a smooth, easygoing character that suits daily errands and long trips alike, though it feels its size in tight spots. Inside, the cabin offers comfortable seating for up to seven, with a third row that folds flat to open up generous cargo space. Owners report the Highlander as a dependable family hauler, with many noting few issues beyond minor annoyances like finicky window motors. Its 3.5L V6 hybrid pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet acceleration that feels effortless around town.
