Miles Overview
The ride is comfortable and the cabin is quiet, though there's some road noise on coarse pavement. The hatchback body gives you a surprising amount of cargo space, and the rear seats fold flat for bigger loads. The Advanced is the plug-in Prius, so you get a larger battery and the ability to drive short commutes on electric power alone before the hybrid system kicks in. Its 1.8L I4 plug-in hybrid makes 96 horsepower, and the electric motor lets you cover the first several miles without burning any gas at all. Toyota rates the Advanced at 50 mpg combined, which is impressive for a car that can also plug into a standard wall outlet overnight.
