Miles Overview
The Prius is the hybrid hatchback that made fuel efficiency mainstream, now with sharper styling and more power. It competes with the Honda Insight and Hyundai Ioniq, though the Prius remains the benchmark for hybrid efficiency. The latest Prius feels more eager than before, with a lower stance and quicker steering that make it genuinely enjoyable. The ride is firm and controlled, which helps handling but means you'll feel sharper bumps. The Nightshade adds blacked-out exterior trim and 19-inch black wheels for a stealthier look over the LE and XLE trims. Its plug-in hybrid system makes 153 horsepower combined, and you can drive short trips on electric power alone before the 2L 4-Cylinder In-Line M20A-FXS plug-in hybrid kicks in. A fixed glass roof is available on the Nightshade, which brightens the cabin but cuts into headroom a bit.
