Miles Overview
The 2005 G35 is Infiniti's sporty entry, a rear-drive sedan or coupe that competes with the BMW 3 Series and Lexus IS. It's genuinely fun to drive, with a responsive engine and sharp handling that make it feel quicker than its numbers suggest. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the era, with comfortable seats and a usable back seat, though the coupe's trunk is small. Owners often praise the G35's reliability, but some have reported issues with window motors, alternators, and the sunroof over time. The coupe body drops the rear doors and a bit of rear headroom, but it's the sharper-looking G35 and weighs less than the sedan. Its 3.5L I6 makes 280 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic. Expect 19 mpg combined in mixed driving, which is typical for a performance coupe of this era.
