Miles Overview
The Armada is Nissan's full-size, body-on-frame SUV, the one that seats eight and is built for towing and family hauling rather than city parking. The cabin is roomy and comfortable for seven or eight, with power-folding rear seats and a decent amount of cargo space behind the third row. Owners consistently note the fuel consumption is heavy, so budget for frequent fill-ups if you're covering a lot of miles. The SL is the mid-level Armada, a step above the SV with more standard comfort and tech, but it skips the Platinum's premium extras. Under the hood is a 5.6L V8 making 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive for smooth, confident acceleration. Expect firm, controlled ride quality that keeps the big body stable, though you'll feel sharper bumps more than in the Platinum's air suspension.
