Miles Overview
The Armada is Nissan's full-size SUV, built to seat eight and tow heavy loads, competing with the Tahoe and Expedition. It drives with the steady, planted feel of a body-on-frame truck, which you'll appreciate when hauling or on rough roads. The cabin is roomy up front and in the second row, though the third row is snug for adults and the infotainment feels dated. Running costs are on the high side because of its thirst and size, so budget accordingly. The Platinum is the top Armada, so you give up the SL's lower price but gain the luxury touches like quilted leather and a better sound system. The Platinum's standard air suspension smooths out the ride, which is a real upgrade over the coil springs on the SV and SL.
