Miles Overview
The 2023 Armada is Nissan's full-size, body-on-frame SUV, slotting above the Pathfinder and competing with the Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, and Toyota Sequoia. The V8 gives the Armada strong passing power, and the ride is composed for a truck-based SUV, though fuel economy is on the low side. The cabin is roomy for up to eight, with a spacious third row and generous cargo space behind it. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Nissan Safety Shield 360. The Armada's traditional V8 and conventional automatic transmission give it a reputation for durability, even if the platform is aging. The Platinum is the top trim, so you get the most luxury features and the highest starting price in the Armada lineup. The 5.6L V8 makes 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and four-wheel drive; it pulls strongly but returns 15 mpg combined.
