2022 Nissan Armada SV

The Armada is Nissan's full-size SUV, built to seat eight and tow heavy loads, competing with the Tahoe and Expedition. It drives with the steady, planted feel of a body-on-frame truck, which you'll appreciate when hauling or on rough roads. The cabin is roomy up front and in the second row, though the third row is snug for adults and the infotainment feels dated. Running costs are on the high side because of its thirst and size, so budget accordingly. The SV is the base trim, so you get cloth upholstery and an 8-inch touchscreen instead of the SL's leather and larger screen. This four-wheel drive SV pairs the 5.6L V8 with a seven-speed automatic, giving you 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque for confident towing and highway merging. Expect fuel economy around 15 mpg combined, which is typical for a full-size SUV this heavy.
