Miles Overview
The 2012 G25 is Infiniti's entry-level luxury sedan, a slightly softer-edged sibling to the G37 that still aims at the BMW 3 Series and Lexus IS. It's a smooth, comfortable cruiser rather than a scalpel, with a willing engine and light, accurate steering that make daily driving easy. The cabin is a pleasant place to spend time, with supportive seats, quality materials, and enough room for four adults, though the trunk is modest. Running costs run higher than a mainstream sedan's, with premium fuel and pricier parts, but the G25's reputation for reliability helps offset that. Rear-wheel drive and a lower starting price distinguish the Journey from the AWD G25 X, making it the sharper choice for warm-weather drivers. Its 2.5L V6 puts out 218 horsepower and pairs with a seven-speed automatic, giving smooth, easy acceleration and 23 mpg combined.
