Miles Overview
The Ariya is Nissan's flagship electric crossover, slotting above the Leaf with a more premium feel and a longer driving range. It competes with the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4, and Tesla Model Y in the fast-growing compact EV segment. The Ariya delivers smooth, quiet acceleration with a refined ride, though the base model's modest power means highway merging requires planning. Inside, the cabin is minimalist and upscale, with a flat floor, a sliding center console, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The Engage is the entry trim for buyers who want the Ariya's refined cabin and smooth electric ride without the higher price of the Venture+. Standard heated front and rear seats and a heated steering wheel are unexpected at this price point, and the 12.3-inch screens come standard too.
