Miles Overview
The CX-9 is Mazda's three-row family SUV, sized to carry seven when you need the extra seats. It drives with a car-like feel, and owners say it accelerates quickly and responds well. The third row is genuinely usable for adults on shorter trips, and the rear window wiper is handy in bad weather. Some owners mention the microfiber seat fabric can be hard to keep clean, and the paint may show scratches more easily. The Grand Touring is the top CX-9 trim, with leather upholstery and a Bose audio system that the Touring skips. Its 3.7L V6 makes 273 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, and the all-wheel drive gives you traction in snow or rain. Fuel economy is 18 mpg combined, which is expected for a three-row SUV with this much power.
