Miles Overview
The CX-9 is Mazda's three-row family SUV, sized to carry seven when you need the extra seats. It drives with a car-like feel, and owners say it accelerates quickly and responds well. The third row is genuinely usable for adults on shorter trips, and the rear window wiper is handy in bad weather. Some owners mention the microfiber seat fabric can be hard to keep clean, and the paint may show scratches more easily. Heated leather seats, a Bose audio system, and a power liftgate set the Grand Touring apart from the Touring and Sport trims below it. Its 3.7L V6 makes 273 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering 19 mpg combined in front-wheel-drive form. The Grand Touring's available blind-spot monitoring is a useful extra that the lower trims don't offer.
