Miles Overview
The CX-9 is Mazda's three-row family SUV, a roomier alternative to the RAV4 and CR-V for those who need to carry seven. It drives with the same eager, responsive feel as Mazda's smaller cars, so it never feels like a chore behind the wheel. The cabin is a genuinely nice place to spend time, with comfortable seats, a clear backup camera, and easy-to-use tech. The third row is tight for adults but fine for kids, and the rear window wiper and folding seats add everyday usefulness. The Touring skips the Grand Touring's leather and Bose audio, but it adds the power driver's seat and blind-spot monitoring the Sport lacks. Its 3.7L V6 makes 273 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, returning 19 mpg combined.
