Miles Overview
The 2023 CX-5 is a compact SUV that aims for a more premium feel than the typical class leader, blending sharp styling with a driver-focused character. It squares off against the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Subaru Forester, offering a more engaging drive than most of them. The CX-5 steers with precision and holds its composure through corners, making it one of the most enjoyable compact SUVs to drive. Inside, the cabin uses upscale materials and a clean layout, with comfortable seats and a user-friendly infotainment system. The base S gives up the Premium’s power liftgate and leatherette upholstery, but keeps the same responsive 2.5L I4 and all-wheel drive for thousands less. Its 187 horsepower 2.5L I4 pairs with a automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for smooth, predictable power that feels eager around town.
