Miles Overview
The CX-5 is Mazda's compact SUV, the one that made small crossovers feel genuinely fun to drive. It steers crisply and stays flat through corners, so it feels more like a sporty hatchback than a tall SUV. The back seat is snug for tall passengers, but fold it down and there's room for a bike or a full load of camping gear. Owners love the secure all-weather grip and the way it shrugs off heavy snow without drama. Heated leather seats, a Bose sound system, and 19-inch wheels set the Grand Touring apart from the Touring trim below it. The 2.5L I4 makes 184 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, returning 26 mpg combined. Rain-sensing wipers and the power moonroof are Grand Touring exclusives, and the ride stays firm and flat through corners.
