Miles Overview
The CX-5 is Mazda's compact SUV, the one that made small crossovers feel genuinely fun to drive. It steers crisply and stays flat through corners, so it feels more like a sporty hatchback than a tall SUV. The back seat is snug for tall passengers, but fold it down and there's room for a bike or a full load of camping gear. Owners love the secure all-weather grip and the way it shrugs off heavy snow without drama. The Sport is the base CX-5, so skipping the Touring's extra luxuries gets you the same sharp chassis for less money. The 2.0L I4 makes 155 horsepower and comes with a six-speed manual, so you row your own gears while getting 29 mpg combined. This particular one is front-wheel drive, which saves weight and keeps the steering feel especially light and direct.
