Miles Overview
The MX-5 Miata RF is Mazda's retractable-hardtop roadster, the one you cross-shop with the Fiat 124 Spider. It's a joy to drive, with sharp steering and a playful rear-drive chassis that makes every corner feel like an event. The ride is firm and the cabin is snug, but that's the trade for a car that feels so connected to the road. Cargo space is tight, so plan on soft bags rather than suitcases for weekend trips. The Grand Touring is the luxury-oriented RF, adding leather seats and a heated steering wheel over the Club's sportier focus. Its 2.0L I4 makes 181 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, and you'll still get 30 mpg combined on regular gas. Only the Grand Touring offers a heated steering wheel and adaptive headlights, small luxuries that make top-down drives more comfortable.
