Miles Overview
The MX-5 Miata RF is Mazda's take on the classic roadster, with a power-folding hardtop that gives it a coupe-like profile. It's one of the most engaging cars you can buy, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes every corner feel like an event. The ride is firm and the cabin is snug, but that's the trade-off for a car that feels so connected to the road. Cargo space is tight, so pack light, but the RF's hardtop adds a bit of security and noise reduction over the soft top. The Grand Touring is the more luxurious of the two RF trims, trading the Club's sportier bits for heated leather seats and a heated steering wheel. The 2.0L I4 sends 181 horsepower to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic, and with 30 mpg combined, it's easy on gas for a roadster. This trim's adaptive headlights and rain-sensing wipers are nice touches you won't find on the Club.
