Miles Overview
The MX-5 Miata is Mazda's two-seat roadster, the affordable convertible that's been the benchmark for pure driving fun for decades. It's a joy to drive, with a light, tossable feel and a manual gearbox that's a delight to shift. The ride is firm and the cabin is snug, which is the trade-off for a car that corners so eagerly. It's a two-seat convertible with a small trunk, so it's a weekend toy rather than a daily hauler. The Grand Touring is the luxury-oriented Miata, adding leather seats and a heated steering wheel over the Club's track focus. The 2.0L I4 makes 181 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, routed through the six-speed manual to the rear wheels for a lively, connected drive; expect 29 mpg combined.
