Miles Overview
The MX-5 Miata is Mazda's two-seat roadster, the affordable convertible that's been the benchmark for pure driving fun for decades. It's a joy to drive, with a light, tossable feel and a manual gearbox that's a delight to shift. The ride is firm and the cabin is snug, which is the trade-off for a car that corners so eagerly. It's a two-seat convertible with a small trunk, so it's a weekend toy rather than a daily hauler. The Sport is the entry-level Miata, sitting below the Club and Grand Touring while keeping the same 2.0L I4 and 181 horsepower as its siblings. The revvy 2.0L I4 pairs with a six-speed manual to deliver 29 mpg combined, making this the lightest and most affordable way into the folding-roof roadster.
