Miles Overview
This is the Miata that started the modern roadster craze, a two-seat convertible that's all about simplicity and driving joy. The steering is quick and talkative, and the car feels eager to change direction, making every corner a little event. The ride is firm but never harsh, and the cabin stays snug and cozy, though taller drivers might find legroom tight. You get a small trunk and a tiny cabin, so it's more of a weekend toy than a daily hauler, but that's part of the charm. This is the only trim for 1999, so you get the purest Miata experience without any frills to distract you. The six-speed automatic means you trade away the manual shifter's engagement for easier stop-and-go driving, which is the honest trade-off here.
