Miles Overview
The 2018 Mazda6 is Mazda's midsize sedan, the one you cross-shop with the Accord and Camry if you want something with more driving character. It's genuinely fun to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that makes you want to take the long way home. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the price, with quality materials and comfortable seats front and back. Some owners report the windshield-mounted camera for safety features can glitch after the car sits in the sun, so be aware of that. The larger infotainment screen and standard leather upholstery set the Grand Touring apart from the Touring below it. Its 2.5L I4 makes 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, sent through a six-speed automatic to the front wheels, which is plenty for confident passing on the highway. The Grand Touring adds a 11-speaker Bose sound system, which fills the cabin cleanly even at highway speeds.
