Miles Overview
The CX-3 is Mazda's smallest crossover, a subcompact that's more fun to drive than most in its class. Its light weight and sharp steering make it feel eager in corners, though the ride is firm over rough pavement. The cabin is nicely trimmed for the price, but rear legroom is tight and cargo space is modest. A 7-inch touchscreen with Mazda's rotary controller comes standard, and Apple CarPlay is available on higher trims. The Grand Touring is the top trim, adding leather upholstery and a Bose audio system that the Touring lacks. Its 2.0L I4 makes 148 horsepower and routes through a six-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which gives it sure-footed traction in rain or snow. This trim's available adaptive headlights and automatic wipers are rare for the subcompact class.
