Miles Overview
The CX-3 is Mazda's smallest crossover, a subcompact that's more fun to drive than most in its class. Its light weight and sharp steering make it feel eager in corners, though the ride is firm over rough pavement. The cabin is nicely trimmed for the price, but rear legroom is tight and cargo space is modest. A 7-inch touchscreen with Mazda's rotary controller comes standard, and Apple CarPlay is available on higher trims. The Touring is the middle trim, a good pick if you want the CX-3's fun character but don't need the Grand Touring's leather and Bose audio. Its 2.0L I4 makes 148 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which gives it sure-footed traction in rain or light snow and returns 29 mpg combined.
